In March 2021, a new housing group opened at the Kranj Professional Centre. In an idyllic setting, directly in nature, 8 children and adolescents live, cared for by four teachers and a housekeeper. Every day they learn something new, play, create, talk and go on different excursions.
Oracle decided that they wanted to give these children something that would give them the drive and motivation to keep going. They have decided to raise funds to pay for the final school trip. They initially wanted to take the children to Malta, but in the end, due to financial constraints, they decided to go to Banja Luka. The project raised €260 in donations, which paid the bill for the trip and gave the children an unforgettable experience.
The teacher and the children sent us some of their impressions of the trip and some very nice photos, which are attached in the gallery.
"For many of them, this is one of the few opportunities they have to cross the border and experience something new, which they particularly appreciate," said the teachers of the Reteče Housing Community.
Statements from children:
"A great long weekend!"
"The bungalows were great."
"The food was excellent."
"We enjoyed the water."
"Hope to go on a trip outside Slovenia again."
