My husband and two sons live in a very dilapidated apartment, full of moisture, which has also made us sick. The furniture is completely dilapidated, there is mold, even the plaster on the ceiling is falling off. It is also very cold in the apartment. We all live on social assistance, which unfortunately is not enough even for basic necessities. Due to a very bad and difficult financial situation, we are also threatened with eviction due to unpaid monthly rents. Upon hearing this news, my husband went into shock and had to visit the emergency room. At the age of 70, the state puts us on the street, like two homeless people.
We have just under €130 a month available for food, we dress with the help of Karitas. Since my husband and I are also chronic patients, we would need a diet, but unfortunately we cannot afford it due to our unsustainable financial situation. The situation is getting worse day by day. The only thing we want is a little hope and some help to meet the basic needs of survival.
